What you will be doing

  • Reporting to the Safety Director and supporting Central Regional Directors.

  • Providing H&S and wellbeing support across offices and sites in the Central Region.

  • Liaising with Environmental, Quality, Sustainability, HR and operational teams.

  • Carrying out inspections, audits, toolbox talks and internal training.

  • Preparing and reviewing risk assessments, traffic management plans and safety documentation.

  • Conducting investigations, noise/light surveys and producing reports.

  • Supporting the maintenance of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 systems.

  • Visiting sites typically once or twice a month, with occasional overnights (3–4 nights per month).


What you will need

  • Proven experience within a building-focused construction environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and site teams.

  • Qualification to or working towards NEBOSH Diploma / Level 6 (Chartered IOSH desirable).

  • Knowledge of environmental and waste management.

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally.

  • A stable career history demonstrating commitment and reliability.
