Search² is delighted to have been exclusively engaged by an international manufacturing organisation specialising in the design, development and selling of products to the aviation industry.The company are looking to recruit a Quality Technician to join their thriving business in supporting a world-class customer base. 

What you will be doing

• Collaborating & sharing best practice with colleagues in the Quality team consisting of 20+ people. You will be supported by senior colleagues with decades of experience within Aviation quality 

• Conducting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) 

• Preparing and validating forms in relation to AS9102

• Supporting in resolving quality issues with assembled products 

• Playing an instrumental role in developing continual product improvement throughout its manufacturing life

• Acting as a key interface with other internal and external disciplines

• Evaluating and processing non-conformities

• Offering expert advice, information and support to Design Engineering and other internal and external customers and suppliers as required

What you will need

• Experience of working in a hands-on quality related role

• Knowledge of manufacturing principles including methods, processes, production control, plant and tooling based on a lean enterprise approach

• Knowledge of DVI,PPAP,APQI is desirable 

• To be located within a commutable distance to Farnborough, Hampshire
