This is greater than your run-of-the-mill safety Advisor role, as you will not only develop as a Health and Safety Advisor but also develop your skills in; communication, liaising with sub-contractors, communicating with senior stakeholders, organisation & coordination, team work
You’ll be working alongside a world class team in health and safety, food safety & fire safety that all support one another in achieving an overarching objective
You will get to flex your safety muscles and knowledge whilst constantly learning about different risk profiles

£40,000 to £45,000 basic salary
25 days annual leave rising to 26 after one year plus all UK bank holidays

What you will be doing
Collaborating with your extremely impressive colleagues in the safety function to ensure the safety of staff, sub-contractors & visitors
Planning the safe running of a multitude of different events
Managing the compliance of sub-contractors & third parties
Proactively educating, coaching and facilitating safety messages and campaigns across the work force
Risk assessments, proactive risk management planning, accident investigations
What you will need
NEBOSH General Certificate level qualification or equivalent
To be commutable from Birmingham
Experience of working in an environment that includes similar risk profiles; Events, hospitality, facilities management, leisure, TV & Film production, broadcast media to name a few
A can-do and positive attitude towards managing health and safety, in an environment in which is difficult to achieve perfection
