Are you an experienced Fire Safety professional with experience working across complex property and estates environments?

Search² is recruiting a Fire Safety Advisor to support a large organisation responsible for an extensive and varied property portfolio across Brighton and the surrounding area.

This is a hands-on interim position, working across a mixture of higher and medium-risk premises and providing practical fire safety advice to Property, Estates and Facilities teams alongside other operational stakeholders.

The role will combine Fire Risk Assessments with wider fire safety compliance, inspections, audits, incident investigation and advisory work across a complex multi-site estate.

What you will be doing

• Undertaking and managing Fire Risk Assessments across a varied property portfolio

• Providing practical fire safety advice to Property, Estates, Facilities and operational stakeholders

• Conducting fire safety inspections and audits, identifying areas of non-compliance and ensuring appropriate actions are followed through

• Reviewing existing Fire Risk Assessments and ensuring actions and recommendations are appropriately prioritised

• Supporting the development and implementation of fire safety policies, procedures and guidance

• Providing advice on relevant fire safety legislation and translating regulatory requirements into practical actions

• Investigating fire safety incidents and recommending appropriate corrective actions

• Supporting fire safety training and awareness activities

• Maintaining accurate fire safety records, reports and compliance information

What you will need

• A recognised fire safety qualification or equivalent professional experience

• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation

• Experience undertaking Fire Risk Assessments, inspections and audits

• Experience working across a complex property, estates or multi-site environment would be advantageous

Contract

• £350 - £450 per day

• Interim contract

• Based across sites in Brighton / East Sussex

• Opportunity to work across a large and technically varied property portfolio

• 2-3 days per week for approx 3 months
